TRACTOR PARADE

A Tractor Parade was held in Hayesville, North Carolina on September, 2011 to celebrate the Clay County Sesquicentennial and to observe the role agriculture has played in our region.

International Harvester built the Farmall in 1924. Its rear wheels wide apart, front wheels close together, allowed farmers to plow row crops. This photo shows Bill O'Neil on his rebuilt tractor.

  1. This would definitely interest Popa; he has several old tractors, bought with intentions of restoring them but age is catching up.

I absolutely love the picture of the old house on your home page.
